Every now and then I receive the field guide to end war.  It’s called Preemptive Love.  Over the next few weeks I’ll be telling you stories from this guide to show you what can happen when you love anyway.  You already know how I feel about giving a hand up.  Here’s their mission statement.

“We believe in a love that can change the way things are.  A love for all who don’t belong, and all who long for more.  For those who look different, love different, pray different.  For neighbors, enemies, and ourselves.  We believe in going where no one else will go, to love the people we’re afraid to love.  To remake our world.  To end war.”
