Do you write?  If so, what is your genre?  This gets harder and harder to identify.  What used to be simply mysteries is now a long list of categories such as cozy, police procedurals, thriller, suspense, etc.   My genre has been narrowed as well.  I write narrative non-fiction, different from creative non-fiction – factually accurate prose about real people and events—told in a compelling, vivid, dramatic manner.  Ask the web “what is creative nonfiction” to get a complete description.

I could never make up the stories that people tell me about their lives.  Telling true stories about people who make a difference, how they go about it, who they help and why keep me connected to current affairs, social justice and people unlike me.
