What about them?  Here’s what I’ve learned.

Nationwide 1 in 14 K-12 students have at least one undocumented parent.

5.9 million U.S. citizen children have an undocumented family member

Around 725,000 students are undocumented

Wherever their parents have come from, their children may have no knowledge of that country.  Without family ties or language, what will become of children in families deported to the country of their parents’ birth?  Imagine your own bewilderment were you to be put on a bus or plane and dropped into a strange place with no comprehension of the language, the culture, the traditions, your parents possibly friendless and jobless.  What do you think they would do?  What would you do?  I’d like to know.  Would you share your thoughts with me?
