Ms. Holt speaks to civic, business and church groups, women’s clubs, and at colleges and universities and state and national conferences. She has presented workshops and seminars to both businesses and non-profit organizations, and has received leadership awards from within and outside the United States.
Eighteen years ago business partners Sara Soma and Patricia Holt began creating contemporary ornaments, pins and magnets from low fire clay. Holt produces and fires them. Soma selects the incredible color combinations, then paints them with acrylics, wires and beads them, using commercial quality findings. Each piece is signed on the back.
Their market niche is the fine craft gallery whose customers appreciate work made by hand. Since they are in only one gallery in any city, it’s important to have a good fit. They work with non-profit organizations by providing items for fundraisers.
