On Friday , January 31st, I will present Leila’s story to members of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Gwinnett. The purpose will be twofold. One to explain how anyone can step out of their comfort zone and become a Committee of One. The other is to explain why one of the items being presented to UU congregations across the country -the Israel/Palestine issue – should receive a yes vote. If enough congregations vote yes, it will considered for study and action over the next four years at the national General Assembly.
I am desiring a yes vote. I desire people across this nation see the issues of the Palestinian Refugees and take notice. That our heads would not so easily turn away but that we would face this issue and help.
If you would like me to come to your church or school to speak about Leila’s story, and the difference one can make, please contact me.
